During this project I learned how to select an image by using the quick mask mode and colored in the parts I wanted to select. I am very proud of this project. I believe I did a good job of putting together the mermaid and the scenery. I could improve on her hair and making her tail look more real. The symbolism of this project is that I've always been fascinated with the idea of mermaids since I was young and wanted to create my own.
